College Scholarships for High School Seniors May 15, 2014Rotarians at the 18th tee “Service Above Self” is the Rotary motto. To that theme, local movers in Northern Virginia, MG Moving Services, proudly sponsored a hole at the 26th Annual Kurt Lange Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament. The proceeds go toward funding college scholarships for high school seniors who attend: • Broad Run • Dominion High School • Potomac Falls • Park View Charities also supported by the Golf Tournament: • Seneca Ridge Middle School D.R.E.A.M. Program • Salvation Army of Loudoun County • Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS) • Holiday Coalition • Camp Eggers Project for American Troops • International Service Projects For more on the Sterling Rotary The main objective of Rotary is service – in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today’s most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence. They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development.
