Keller Williams Realty & MG Moving help victims of Superstorm Sandy November 26, 2012Sterling, Virginia (November 8, 2012) – Keller Williams Market Centers and top producing associates in Northern Virginia raised over $61,000 in less than 72 hours, which provided more than $12,000 in cash for New York and New Jersey families to purchase much needed items to continue living under post-hurricane conditions. Tipper Williams, Regional Director of Keller Williams Realty VA/WVA Region, said “We’re still missing twelve families. We’ve got families who have lost their entire homes, babies with no food, no milk, no diapers… it’s a war zone.” Terry Williams of MG Moving Services responded to Ann Beck’s request (Team Leader, Keller Williams Fairfax Gateway) to meet at CostCo in Leesburg, VA, and load over six tons of supplies including generators, blankets, baby formula, diapers, food, water and cleaning supplies which were transported by moving truck to New York and New Jersey. With much more work to be done, teams are waiting to see what the NY/NJ region will need in the coming weeks leading to the holidays.
